Typically, on Industrial and large waste volume generating sites, waste streams are diverse. With modern, (compliant) waste management practices, waste streams are separated into a variety of grades and types at source.
Dependant on the volumes and the nature of these waste streams, different containers, different collection vehicles and different disposal/treatment destinations will be required.
Most often, this also means a variety of Service Providers might need to be selected.
With larger Corporates, Regional influences and International (into SADAC) might also mean that not all Service Providers can service all areas.
So a variety of regional locations can also necessitate fragmentation.
From a commercial point of view, fragmentation is healthy; it means that you buy for best advantage for the line item, per site, per region.
"One size definitely does not fit all."
However, Environmental Waste Legislation and sustainability strategies require Organisations to have complete control of all waste movements off site. What went where, when, waste type, destination, volume, Service Provider/Transporter etc.
With multiple Waste and Recycling Service Providers being used, this means more organisations to be in contact with, more individual source docs to chase after and manage, more vehicles entering your premises, more security concerns, more individual data streams to capture, track and record, more of your management time,
DON'T WASTE has produced an Industry first, world class system to take care of these needs for our clients... a system that sets the controls, rather than having to allow for expensive management resources at each site.
YOU CAN FRAGMENT AND CHOOSE MULTIPLE PROVIDERS FOR SITE/REGIONAL BEST ADVANTAGE WHILST STILL HAVING A SINGLE POINT OF CONTROL!
How does it work?
All orders for collection are channeled through the Don't Waste system...
Multiple site approved WSP's loaded on DWS system & linked to site waste / container type, budget & requirements
Waste attendant or Client, accesses the DWS Load Order & Tracking system using one of three methods above & captures the order request.
A unique tracking number for the load is issued by the system back to site and also to the WSP - load details endorsed on a system generated collection order report to WSP
WSP arrives at site.and matches tracking number with site staff. All in order... collects load and signs site order book as proof of collection
WSP transports load to landfill or treatment or recycler.
Site staff sends signed site collection documents to DWS accounts and WSP sends invoice and waste manifest to DWS accounts.
Signed site document and WSP manifest matched by accounts.
Details of transaction uploaded / updated against client profile. Source docs scanned and available for view by client. WSP paid. Hard copies filed for 5years.

An account and profile is opened on our ERP system for your site at service commencement. Approved SP's, grades, and container types are loaded against your profile. No provider can be accessed if not loaded on system. Budget and management options can be set for control purposes. At point of booking a load for collection from site, only the options loaded are available. System returns a unique tracking number for the booking which is
returned to booking originator on site and to the Service Provider that will be collecting. Site order book and supplier collection manifest must reflect same tracking number to ensure authorized collection.
No payments are made to SP's unless correct system and docs are provided.
